now they want to change both OCVs, oil flush, and need to take the exhaust (headers?) off to get at these all to the tune of $1300. They are a decent outfit but the tech (s) keep following the manual logarithm, oil change, reset codes, clean one OCV, reset codes etc. I have been throwing the P0011 code and occasionally P0024 on my 2011 Stg 2, after checking for vacuum leaks, taking banjo bolts out which the dealer said would have screens none of them did, changing maps, oil changes, cleaned MAF, I took it to the dealer. Doubt that is at all linked, but I figured I'd throw out all recent info. Transmission dipstick has indicated that I'm very slightly overfilled since I did it. ![]() I also recently changed the transmission/front diff, and rear diff gear oils. That's unusual for me, but I leak oil a good bit, so I've already put almost a full change of oil in, in the last 2k miles, so that's why I figured I wouldn't change it yet. considering it technically hasn't been changed in 4,400 miles. Today I'm going to start with checking the avcs oil line banjo bolts to see if they're clogged, and also check my timing belt. but that's not much drivetime, so we'll see. I cleared the code, and have driven probably 15-20 miles. I've got a few things a buddy who breathes Subies told me to check, plus some stuff I'm gonna check after research online. ![]() It seemed to run fine, sounded fine, and looks fine, superficially. It occurred while doing the speed limit on the interstate. I threw a "P0011" (intake camshaft position timing - over-advanced ) CEL yesterday afternoon. Anyone have any tips, advice, or any info they can give me?
